I can run and I can hide But this feeling I have inside Will somehow catch right up to me And bring right back your memory
In pieces it will bring you here And one by one they'll disappear Your eyes drifted from me to her The love we had is in a blur
Your lips now kiss her in the night Your arms now hold her so tight The words you told her way back then Are now the words you tell her when
You hold her and she holds you It's funny how dreams tear in two Your voice is now heard in my mind Another memory to leave behind
Your eyes, your lips, your arms, your face So many pieces so out of place

~*~What He Never Knew~*~

He never knew I loved him Or that he meant the world to me He never knew that when I looked in his eyes Heaven was all I could see
He never knew that when he was near He'd brighten up the day He never knew I thought so much of him There was so much I didn't say
He never knew his last touch and smile Would haunt me for so long He never knew that I would still love him Even when he was gone
I wish I would have told him These things I should have said long ago For what he never knew back then He now will never know

To look in your eyes Just feels so right There's nowhere I'd rather be Than with you tonight
Just seeing your face Makes me smile inside But when you are with her I feel like I've died
You've never held me In your arms or your heart But that's where she's been And it tears me apart
To know that you and I Are only just friends And to know that whenever This night ends
You'll run back to her And hold her so tight You'll forget my face And what happened tonight
It will become a lost memory In your past While the pain I feel Will always last
And when I see you With her again I'll have to remember You're just a friend
And I'll have to let go Of what will never be For we're only friends You and me

~*~Him in Your Eyes~*~

I used to be so in love with him We were as close as two lovers could be He was all I ever wanted and more Then one day he decided to leave
I was still in love with him Even after he had broken my heart He stayed on my mind for years I still don't know what tore us apart
I tried to put him way behind me By reminding myself of the lies I tried to force myself to date others But all I saw was him in their eyes
Until I met you He was all I could see When I fell for you I put the past behind me
I no longer saw his face Couldn't feel his embrace Couldn't see his smile anymore Couldn't taste his kiss like before
I knew he was gone for good I thought that he never would Although I still hear his voice in my mind I know he's gone for good this time
I can still hear Our last goodbyes But I don't see Him in your eyes...

~*~Fading Away~*~

I guess your memory of me Is now fading away You must not be thinking of me When I think of you each day
When I look at you, you look at me But then you turn around What is it you'd rather see Instead of what you've found?
I guess I just don't mean a thing To you anymore I guess I don't ever cross your mind Like I did before
I wish my memory of you Would start fading away So then I could find someone new And get over you someday

I keep looking at your picture Wishing it could bring the past back But you know as well as I do A picture can't do that
I keep looking in your eyes And at that smile that won't go away I never thought your picture Would haunt me so much these days
It brings back all the laughs we shared Just between you and me It brings back a lot of good times But they're only memories
Without a single word You know, a lot can be said I can almost hear your voice From your picture by the bed
I wish a picture could come to life Then you would be here with me But since your picture can't bring you back I'll have to live with your memory
