FLORENCE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

DINOSAUR FOOTPRINT
SPECIES: ??Dinosaur
LOCATION: Florence Museum of Natural History, Florence, Italy
DATE OF TRAVEL: July 1999

This dinosaur footprint is mounted on a wall of the museum near several ammonites. Unfortunately, no identification tag accompanied the footprint, leading one to believe that it is either un-named or has not been scientifically studied in-depth. Although Italy has yielded only two dinosaur fossils several dinosaur and tetropod footprints have been found in the Alps, including an excellent dinosaur trackway near the town of Rovereto.
