Coal achieved his Junior Hunter title in early Spring 2004.
Winner of the Stud Dog Class at the 2004 National Specialty.
Coal is a multi group placing dog. He was best of Opposite Sex Sweeps at the 1998 CCRCA National Specialty. He is also sire of a multi group placer and a national specialty supported entry winner.

CH SoftMaple's Pheasant Dreams WC CGC

Moxie earned her first JH leg in 2003. This earns her CCRCA WC
Moxie was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners at the 2004 CCRCA National Specialty. She was Winners Bitch, BOW the next day to finish her Championship, and went on to a Sporting Group second at the Supported entry show.
Moxie then earns a Group 1st and Group 3rd at the Alexander NY Shows. This makes Moxie the first Liver Curly bitch to win a Sporting Group.

Moxie's father Jet, CH SoftMaple's O'Dark Thirty JH,SH,MH WCQ CD CGC TT HOF, is only the third Master Hunter in the breed. He is the first Master Hunter with an AKC Championship. Proving that beauty and brains go hand in hand. Jet earned his CD with class placements. Jet is co-winner of the CCRCA annual Field Trophy for 2002. Jet is winner of the 2003 CCRCA annual Field Trophy (The Sarona Jacob of Marvadel & Sarona Sam of Marvadel Memorial Field Trophy) Jet qualified for the Hall of Fame in 2004.

Jet's grandmother, Tempest, BISS CH Ptarmigan Gail At Riverwatch CD WC CGC TT TDI HOF, was Best of Breed five times at the CCRCA National Specialty, and seven times Best of Breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Her father was the breeds first Best in Show Curly.

Jet's grandfather, Teddy, BISS Ch. Ptarmigan Walk The Wild Side, was a multi group placer who won first AKC recognized CCR National Specialty (1994) Teddy is the sire of Jade, who was the first female curly coated retriever in the breed's history to reach the title of Master Hunter and 2nd Master Hunter over all in the breed.

Coal's mom, Ch. Chocca Shaw's Blazin Blizzard, CGC, TT, ROM, is litter mate to Chocca-Shaw's Winter Wonder, WCQ, MH, MNHR who is the only curly to qualify to run in the Master Nationals.

Coal's father Andre, Am & Can Ch. Boyerie's Andouille O'Wits' End CR-449 CR-264G24M, is the sire of a Best In show winning curly, and a number of group placing curlies, as well as the sire of the 1999 and 2002 Westminster Dog Show Best of breed winner, and the 2002 Westminster BOS.
Andre was winner of the Stud Dog Class at the 2001 CCRCA National Specialty.

Ch Rockmeadow Deliverance,CD,WCX,JH,ROM Zack was the #1 show Curly in 1988, a multiple Group placer and was Best of Winners at the 1988 National Specialty.

Ch Charwin-Paisley Cr Porsche,CDX,WC,ROMX Porsche was Reserve Winners Bitch at the 1984 National Specialty, had class placements on both of her obedience titles and was the dam of two Group winners, a Group placer, a BIS/BISS winner and numerous other Chs and field titlists.

Am & Can CH Pasha N Charwins's Black Jack Am & Can WC ROM BOW 91 National, AOM 96, 97 CR-220G26M CERF CR-314 90,92,93,99 Jack was a multi-group placer in the US and Canada. Best of Winners at the 1991 National Specialty and Judges Award of Merit at the 1996 and 1997 CCRCA National Specialties. Sire of many champions, Jack's legacy is his joy of life and his sense of humour passed on to all his offspring.

Ch.Riverwatch DesertWind ROM CR-EL30 CR-429E24M, CERF Loki is a Conformation Champion, trained to a CD level and although not hunted is very birdy with good marking ability. His father Ch. Karakul Trademark ROM CR-199G29M-T, CERF Ivan was a Multi Group placer, brother to BIS BISS CH Karakul Titan ROM. Titan was the first Curly to have over 60 group placements. He won the National Specialty three times, and was the second curly to win a Best In Show. Ivan and Jack are half siblings, both out of Porsche.

Ch Hartfire Karakul Yaquina,CD,WCX,JH,WR,ROM,HOF Angel earned her Ch with a 5 point win, her CD with a class placement and her field titles with way too much fun. Glimpses of "Her Royal Angelness" can still be seen on occasion in her kids.

Ch. Avanti's Best Bet CD ,CGC, ROMX CR-CA12/56F/C CR-408E24F, CERF Betty finished her CH with 3 majors, but her real star quality is in the quality puppies she produced. My foundation bitch. Betty had 2 litters at SoftMaple, easily earning her ROM and ROMX. Betty passed along many of her wonderful characteristics and her wonderful temperament. Among her titled offspring to date she has 10 Conformation Champions; 6 Junior Hunters; 7 WC's; One Senior Hunter, one Master Hunter. Three CCRCA WCX's, One NAHRA Started Retriever; 3 Companion Dogs, One Novice Agility Dog; One Novice Agility Jumpers With Weaves; 1 AKC Open Agility titled dog; 4 Therapy Dog Internationals; 5 CGC's, 1 UKC CD, 2 UKC CH, and many more that are pointed or well on their way to a field or agility title.

So this litter would be a loose line breeding on BISS Ch. Ptarmigan Walk The Wild Side. It would also pick up his sire, Ch Rockmeadow Deliverance,CD,WCX,JH,ROM a third time in the pedigree. The pedigree would bring in Ch Charwin-Paisley Cr Porsche, CDX,WC,ROMX,HOF,TDI twice. Once behind Jack, and once behind Ivan. The pedigree would also combine the bloodlines behind the only two living Master Hunters. Jet is Moxie's father. And Jade is Coal's aunt. (Coal's mother's sister)

The pedigree would also bring in some top producing dogs, and some big winning dogs. CH Charwin Evensong WCX JH CGC CD is mother of a National Specialty WB/BOW winner, multi group placer. She also is mom of a bitch that went BOS at the CCRCA National, and was WB at the supported event. Gabby's pups

BISS-Group Winner, multi-group placer Ch. Ptarmigan Walk The Wild Side (Teddy was BOB at the first official CCRCA National.

BISS CH Ptarmigan Gail At Riverwatch CD WC CGC TT TDI HOF ~ Tempest broke more records than we can even mention. 5 National Specialty BOB wins. 7 times Westminster BOB. Over 100 group placements. Am/Can/UKC Champion, as well as an obedience title holder and a field title holder. Her grandson was BOB at the 2004 CCRCA National.

Andre is father of BIS winning, and two time Westminster Dog Show Best of breed winner, Ch. Kurly Kreek Marshall Dillon Boyerie WC, CGC, TDI . Andre is also father of CH Kurly Kreek Mae West is the 2003 Pedigree Award Winner, and Westminster BOS winner.

And most importantly, the temperaments behind these dogs can't be beat.
