Three vehicles from WMU: ready to roll!

Dividing us into the three vehicles..

and fond farewells to Sangren Hall!

We arrived about an hour late, but there was still time to hit the gift shop!

Arms full of treasures, it's nearly time for lunch.

We divide up into two vans to head to lunch.

On the trip, we see the camera system that helps to control traffic.

Hamlin Pub is a great place with LOTS of food!

After lunch, we tour the facility. We spot the guide kitty!

We see a display of harnesses from around the world.

We saw the kennels that the dogs progress through as they are socialized, trained, observed for medical and orthopedic concerns. Dogs must pass each criteria before being considered being matched to a student.

Harnesses are assembled at Leader Dog.

The wall of fame: Lions chapters from all over!

The veterinarian shows us signs of hip dysplasia.

This puppy is about to go to a volunteer home.

This dog watched all of us walk by. Wanna play?

After the tour and discussion of the student program, we settle in at the hotel.

I'm glad to see the room has a data port for the computer!

Aaaah! I'm liking the room already!

It sure beats the dorm!! But we've got to shop.....

This wasn't QUITE what we were shopping for!

We poked around in the eclectic shops...

....and found some places to eat!
